What is NLP and why is it beneficial to so many?

What is NLP?

Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) explains the relationship between how we think (Neuro), how we communicate both verbally and non verbally (linguistic) and our patterns of behaviour and emotions (programmes). Essentially, NLP can be described as how to communicate to consistently achieve specific desired outcomes in a variety of contexts from business negotiation to therapeutic intervention. The utilisation of NLP communication skills together with a number of techniques (derived from models of how the mind works) assist in easily, effortlessly and rapidly changing unwanted thoughts, beliefs and behaviours.

NLP techniques work to remove negative emotion from past events, clear up limiting beliefs and decisions we have made about ourselves and align individuals at the unconscious level towards their goal. The net result is a supercharged individual with no fear, 100% confidence and with the ability to go out and achieve whatever they desire.

Magenta NLP Journey

Debbie’s Journey…

“Working with Bevis has been an enlightening journey both professionally and personally. The value and impact that the mentoring has had are challenging to define in statistical facts and figures yet, the measure of success has been the achievement of small short-term goals, thus giving me the confidence to aspire to be more and achieve more, both for myself and the business. The immediate key indicator of the value of this partnering has been the improvement of my quality of life and relationships. I have a better understanding of myself which allows me to take an alternative approach when faced with barriers and limiting beliefs, challenging these and viewing the opportunities for growth they may disguise! I am enjoying the coaching process and I am delighted to be able to continue to learn through the NLP Practitioner course later this year.”
